Travel Daze with Fr. Peter Fr. Peter Drenzek has become quite a tour guide at Good Shepherd and took his second day trip of parishioners and friends to visit sites in Milwaukee. Here are some of the comments from attendees of the fun event:
- Old St Mary's brought back many good memories of when I was involved with CYO. Beautiful Church. The trip was very enjoyable, and I met several people [who] I didn't know, so made new friends.
- The trip was a great experience of art at the Grohmann Art Museum, faith and tradition at Old St. Mary's Church, a great traditional German lunch at Maders Restaurant, a trip across the street to Usingers and the Cheese Mart and topped off with a pint at Lakefront Brewery as well as a tour.
- We are from St. James. It was advertised in our bulletin and decided to join you. We really enjoyed the whole day.
