Recap of Reset the Table Session One – The Root of Racism Submitted by Joan Plumley Do you know that race is a manufactured construct that was changed over time to meet the ever-growing economic needs of our country? There is no scientific basis for the category of race, humans are biologically the same. After viewing videos that gave a brief synopsis of how our system of race developed, we broke out into small groups. We shared our thoughts, hopes and challenges in safe space.
