Recyclable or Not? By Mary Kult There are always more items to consider as recyclable. Some say they are recyclable, but only under certain circumstance (like being cleaned first.) Even though some items have a recyclable logo, the 6 logo is not recyclable. Some items, that are recyclable that you may have not considered: VHS tapes and CD’s, old belts, old shoes or boots, packaging of personal hygiene items, frozen vegetable bags, plastic packaging of deli meats, Ziplock bags, packaging of magazines and bread bags Items that are not recyclable: Mesh bags of fruits and vegetables, twisty ties (contact Mary with how you reuse these items: marykult@gmail.com)Reminder: We collect aluminum can opener tabs and pop-tops of soup and vegetable cans. Place them in the basket by the south doors. They go to benefit the Ronald McDonald House.
