Meet Our New Trustee Treasurer: Alice Hungerford

We thank Greg Goss for his service as our trustee treasurer. He will remain in a leadership role as the chair of the finance council. The trustee nomination process produced one candidate: Alice Hungerford. No election was necessary, so Alice became our new trustee treasurer:

I have been a member of Good Shepherd Church since moving to Menomonee Falls 2 years ago, and want to share my experience with the parish. I have spent the majority of my life heavily involved in the music; starting when I was about 12. I decided to retire just 6 weeks ago and want to be of more service and I knew my career could be of much help. 

I was born and raised in West Lafayette Indiana and graduated from Purdue University, GO BOILERS. My degree is in Management, emphasis in Accounting and Finance. I spent 22 years in manufacturing accounting with several different companies, living in 5 different states. I then was drafted into management consulting and spent 18 years traveling the country, which led me to take a executive financial management position with Milwaukee Community Service Corp Inc. and help a floundering local not-for-profit.

I find accounting is inbred, as my father and younger sister were accountants. It's in the DNA. I hope to bring my accounting and finances knowledge to share as the new Trustee Treasurer. (No, I do not do taxes.) Retirement will allow me the time, which I haven't felt I had available until now, to be of service and use the years of knowledge and experience to be of service to Good Shepherd. Thank you for the opportunity to serve.
