Discernment of Our New Pastoral Council & Trustee Treasurer 

We thank council members Bill Gaynor, Ryan Goss and Joan Plumley and trustee Greg Goss for their years of service.

The trustee nomination process produced one candidate: Alice Hungerford. No election was necessary, so Alice became our new trustee treasurer.

Five pastoral council nominees met to discern four new members. This time of prayer and seeking the Holy Spirit guided us to Victor Dione, Tom Hushek, Kim Regent-Smith and John Tabor.

I am originally from Thiensville. My husband and I settled in Menomonee Falls 10 years ago and have been members for the past 5 years. We have two teenage boys: Daniel a Sophomore and Tommy a freshman. Both attend Menomonee Falls High School. I was an elementary school teacher for several years but have spent the last 17 years as a childcare provider. When we are not busy attending one of many sporting events for our boys, my husband and I enjoy hiking, fishing and spending time at a family cabin up north.

Good Shepherd Parish has quickly become a very important place in our lives. We have enjoyed participating in Generations of Faith for the past 2 years, and I am in awe of all the different programs and opportunities Good Shepherd provides to get involved in the church and community. I am very excited to join pastoral council and become a contributing member of a parish my family has come to love so much.

Victor Dione: Stewardship Liaison

My wife, Kelly, and I have been married for 17 years and are the proud parents of three daughters: Amary, Ginette, and Celeste. We have been members of Good Shepherd for eight years.

​I am originally from Senegal, West Africa. I lived in Colorado for two years, where I met my wife, before moving to Wisconsin. I currently work for Spectrum as a supervisor in the Maintenance department; I have been with the company for 15 years. In the past, I traveled to many countries working for the YMCA to train, teach, and help build strong communities. God has always been in my life. He is my shepherd, guiding me every day and every hour.

​Good Shepherd Parish has been welcoming, loving, and patient with our family. The parish has always ensured we are growing with the community in faith and in God’s love. I look forward to working with the parish to continue spreading the Word of God to all His children and staying committed to its mission. I am thankful for the opportunity to serve and hope to bring the best of myself to the community. Amen.

Tom Hushek: Human Concerns Liaison

I grew up in Hales Corners, attending St. Mary’s Parish and Whitnall High School. After graduating from UW-Madison, I began a 30+ year career in the Foreign Service, working at various U.S. embassies overseas (Khartoum, Moscow, Islamabad, Kabul, Kolonia, Dushanbe, Vienna, Juba) and at the State Department headquarters in Washington DC. I loved serving my country as a diplomat (and still love sharing stories, if you’re interested) but since retiring in 2020 am eager to focus on the home front.

At the end of 2025, I moved back to Wisconsin (along with one of my brothers) in order to be closer to family. It was a blessing to land in Menomonee Falls just a couple blocks from Good Shepherd. I look forward to contributing to parish life and worshipping alongside such a terrific faith community.

John Tabor: Finance Council Liaison

I grew up in Northwest Indiana and moved to the Milwaukee area for work about 20 years ago. I work as a revenue manager for hotels. I attend services and Generations with my wife of almost 19 years, Eileen, and two amazing children, Anderson and Delaney. Laney will join Andy at Menomonee Falls High School in the fall. We have two naughty puppies that we adopted through rescue organizations. We started attending Good Shephard during Covid and found the place where we belong. When Eileen and I aren’t attending baseball games, cheer events, or plays, you will most likely find us working on projects around our house.

I look forward to sharing skills and insights to help guide the parish during my first term along with learning from my fellow parishioners and council members.
