What attracted you to the parish community?

Vibrant, progressive and family-friendly parish

• Why did you decide to join the human concerns commission?

Joined HCC, as assigned, when I was on Pastoral Council, continued on when Pastoral Council tenure was up.

What do you feel has been the most significant development or change for the parish as a result of the group’s efforts in your time on this commission?

We have learned to be aware of the importance of 501(c)(3) charitable organizations. I love how well we can function via consensus.

Please describe the community of Good Shepherd in three words.

Social justice oriented.

What is your favorite experience or memory as part of the parish community?

Great appreciation of Christian Formation programs when our children were growing up.
