Reconciliation

What Is Reconciliation?

Once we are Baptized, Reconciliation is the Church’s Sacramental channel for experiencing God’s forgiveness. It is one of the two Sacraments of Healing, the other being the Anointing of the Sick. At Mass, we hear over and over that God happily forgives, even our worst sins. When the priest says, “I absolve you from your sins,” we can find great comfort and peace that we are once again in right relationship with God.
