Pilgrims of Hope for Creation

Submitted by Marguerite Thompson

Catholic communities across the United States are organizing local pilgrimages as sacred opportunities to pray for the grace to encounter Christ in Creation and renew our relationships with God, the Earth, and one another. As we celebrate the Jubilee of Hope, the 10th anniversary of Pope Francis’ Laudato Si’, and the 800th anniversary of St. Francis of Assisi’s Canticle of the Creatures, we hear a Spirit-filled call to renew our relationship with God, with one another, and with all of creation. Discover and join a growing movement of Catholic pilgrimages across the United States!

Go to catholicpilgrimsofhope.org and find a pilgrimage to join near you—or register your own to get on the map! Whether you’re planning a short parish walk or a multi-day trek through natural landscapes, every step taken is a witness to hope, healing, and the call to care for our common home.
