Stewardship 2026: Pledge Process & Expressions of Generosity Workshop
Please use the information presented in our finance council annual report this weekend to prayerfully consider your financial gift to the parish in 2026. As well, the parish financial report is available in the weekly email or paper copy in the narthex. Commitment weekend is Nov 15-16. We invite you to bring your filled out pledge card (mailed to you or available in the narthex) to Mass and make your commitment to the growth and outreach of Good Shepherd in 2026. You also can make your pledge online by clicking the button below.
Also on Commitment Weekend, we will have a hospitality meal and enjoy a workshop hosted by Thrivent Financial to explore ways of giving based on research they have done to guide Christian leaders to make the most of the gifts God has given us.
Generosity is transforming, both to the community and the individual. Everyone comes to the table with a different perspective, goal and motivation for generous behavior. To better understand the stories of others, we first must understand our own story. We will explore and learn about our own generosity story, plus share with each other ways we can be generous together. Good Shepherd knows well that generosity is more than just giving financially, so we invite you to learn about and share your “Expression of Generosity” to strengthen the impact our parish has on each other, our community and the world.
