Parish Trustee Secretary Profiles for May 31-June 1 Election
Good Shepherd is incorporated with five officers: two archdiocesan, the parish director and two lay trustees. As a legal position of the corporation, we hold elections for trustees who serve two-year terms. Two candidates have been nominated for the position of parish trustee secretary. Prayerfully review their profiles. The election will be held at Masses the weekend of May 31-June 1 for register members.
Dan Nimmer
Hi, Dan Nimmer here and I would appreciate your vote for Trustee.
I have been a member of Good Shepherd Parish since my marriage to Lisa Nimmer, in 1988. We raised our five children in Richfield and are now blessed to have four beautiful grandchildren. For most of my career I worked at my family-owned business, Enercon Industries in Menomonee Falls. At Enercon Industries, I managed many areas from Finance, Engineering, IT, and Operations. In 2009 I became the COO, and in 2019 I was promoted to CEO. Over my 36 years of service, I helped grow the company, enjoyed mentoring my co-workers, and always tried to bring Jesus to work. One of the books that inspired me was, Jesus, CEO by Max Lucado. I retired at the end of 2023.
When my kids were young, I enjoyed (well most of the time) coaching them in Flag Football, Soccer and Tennis. Once my children were adults, I was able to spend my time as an active member of Good Shepherd. I am blessed to serve others by ushering, helping with the St. Bens meal program, being a chaperone for Matthew 25 Workcamp, and serving on the Finance Council. I have a gift for numbers and balancing the books. I also enjoy being a member of several Ministries: Ellacuria Committee, Racial Justice, Repairers of the Breach and Capuchin Ministries.
It would be my honor to serve Good Shepherd as Trustee Secretary.
Thank You,
Dan Nimmer
