Staying in Touch with the Times

We are assailed with many concerns in our society and beyond. Our Social Justice Corner is intended to bring to mind what is happening in some of the areas where parishioners are most involved. That is why you see in this Corner the issues of Anti-Human Trafficking, Ellacuria Twinning concerns, Gay and Straight in Christ (LGBTQ+), Racial Justice and Immigration. We also regularly write about climate related issues since it affects the poor the most. We introduce other timely topics as well, to keep ourselves abreast of what is happening. It is trying, to say the least, to not to get overwhelmed by the immensity of justice problems in the world. And yet awareness is key to even the tiniest changes we may make in our own lives that ultimately cumulate into change in our broader world.
