The Racial Justice Catholic Collaborative (RJCC)

Submitted by Joan Plumley

RJCC is an exciting new development for racial justice in the Milwaukee Archdiocese. A group of parishes who have been doing this work decided to get together in 2023, and Racial Justice Catholic Collaborative was born! Good Shepherd Parish is one of about fifteen parishes who are part of it. Shenedra Johnson, Director of Urban Ministry for the Milwaukee Archdiocese is working with us as well. Right now, we are inviting other parishes to the events we are planning. In the future we hope to work collaboratively on anti-racist endeavors. We can do more together than by ourselves. Here’s an upcoming event in which you might be interested.

May 4 – Your Vote Matters Event with election officials, 8:30 – 11:30 AM at All Saints, 4051 N. 21st St. Milwaukee. We welcome you!
