September 12, 1929 – May 14, 2022
Fr. Richard served as our Assisting Priest from 2013-2021. He served as a teacher, writer and spiritual director after he was invested into the Order of Capuchin Franciscans in 1947 and ordained a priest in 1955.
He was last with us in November signing his newest book, “Challenging Choices.” He was known for his pastoral care, and of course, for his sense of humor: “We all have a blind spot. If you don’t know what your blind spot is, ask your spouse. And if your spouse won’t tell you, ask somebody who doesn’t like you.”
+May perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.
