Alcohol/Drug Outreach - This is a network of parish members who have experience dealing with the issues related to drug and alcohol addiction. Network members offer confidential support and referral to people affected by their own, or someone else's chemical abuse. Please contact Jane Clare Ishiguro at the Parish Offices for more information. Blood Pressure Monitoring - Blood pressures are taken after Masses the first weekend of every month in the chapel. Recommendations for wellness are given in accordance with the American Heart Association guidelines. College Care Connections - This is an outreach ministry to parish college students. Final exam survival kits are filled with snacks and mailed to the students two times per year. Please contact Jane Clare Ishiguro at the Parish Offices for more information. Elizabeth Ministry - This is a program which helps others during times of pregnancy, birth, adoption or infant crisis. It provides support to those suffering the pain of miscarriage, infertility or failed adoption. Contact Maria Migdal at the Parish Offices for more information. FACT Food Pantry - The Menomonee Falls Food Pantry provides food for individuals and families in need. Please contact Sara Eldredge at the Parish Offices for more information. Grief Support Group - This support group meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of every month. There is also support groups for children that meets in a different room, at the same time. Healing Prayer - Persons desiring prayer for healing are invited to gather near the ambry (holy oil cabinet) after every weekend Mass. In a 5 to 10 minute period, a short but personal prayer will be offered for those who request healing prayer for themselves or others. Homebound & Hospital Visitation - Members of our Pastoral Care Commission will arrange visitation for persons who are homebound or hospitalized. Distribution of communion can also be arranged. Job Seeker Network - This is a network of parish members who have expertise in job search skills such as resume writing, interviewing, and networking. Network members share their expertise with people who are underemployed, unemployed or changing jobs. Please contact Jane Clare Ishiguro at the Parish Offices for more information. Parish Nurses - The Parish Nurse serves as a link between the faith community and the medical community. Working with the Pastoral Team and lay leaders, the parish nurse links the needs of the whole person with the resources of the church, the health care provider and the community. Contact Maria Migdal at the Parish Offices for more information. Prayer Network - This is a group of persons linked in prayer requests. The only task besides prayer is to call the next person on the list. Prayer requests may be placed in the boxes in the back of church. Renewed Hope Counseling Services - Renewed Hope offers professional and certified counseling for individuals, couples and families. A therapist has office hours at Good Shepherd two days a week. Appointments may be scheduled through the Waukesha office. Contact Diane Oman at (262) 547-2463. Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick - This is an opportunity for healing and strengthening physically, spiritually and emotionally. Anointing rituals take place during our usual weekend liturgy once a year and as requested at weekday Masses. Please call the Parish Offices for more information. Share the Care - If you or a love done is seriously ill and you feel the need for organized support, a parish nurse will mentor you in the "Share the Care" process. Transportation - Our transportation committee is willing to help out those in need of rides for medical appointments and any other situation when a ride becomes a problem.
