Central America Study Group

An opportunity to learn about our sister parish in Ellacuria, El Salvador. The meet monthly for 2 hours.

Friends of Hartfel House

This group supports this home for developmentally disabled men. This can be accomplished by working with the men, teaching them and helping to incorporate them into the parish activities.

Guest House Ministry

Volunteer at the Guest House Homeless Shelter. Once per month.

HOPE Network for Single Mothers

They provide programs and services for Milwaukee area single mothers. Volunteer support is needed for bulk mailings, babysitting for monthly support group meetings and transporting donated items. Varied commitment.

Human Concerns Commission

This parish commission evaluates, coordinates and sets goals for parish wide human concerns. They also allocate 5% of the weekly collection to organizations working on behalf of those in need. Meets monthly for 2 hours.

St. Ben's Meal Program

Volunteers prepare food for St. Ben's once a month and bring it to Good Shepherd. Drivers are needed occasionally.

Sleep Warm Quilters

This group provides warmth and comfort to the homeless by making homemade sleeping bags. They meet on Monday mornings, monthly.

Voices for Justice

Works on behalf of children and family through involvement in public policy; educates on issues provided. Actions involve phone calls and letter to legislators. Varied commitment.
